The Sociology of Privatized Security

I am glad to announce that our edited volume: The Sociology of Privatized Security is out with Palgrave-Macmillan. It is the first comprehensive sociological examination of the current trend of the privatization of security. With leading sociologists from the US and Europe we explore important questions related to this important trend, where state outsource security to private actors in various domains. We hope that this book will open the door for further research on this important topic.
